Brazil winger Estevao in tears after suspected hamstring injury- Liam Rosenoir provides update

Brazilian winger Estevao was left in tears at half-time after suffering what appears to be a significant hamstring injury, according to head coach Liam Rosenior. The incident occurred during a promising attacking moment, when the young forward was racing through on goal for a one-on-one opportunity – only to pull up and clutch the back of his thigh.

“He was crying at half-time; it was really devastating for him,” Rosenior revealed in his post-match press conference. “It looks like it’s his hamstring, and that has happened in a moment when he’s running through on their goal for a one-v-one chance – he pulls his hamstring in that moment.”

The injury is a bitter blow for both player and club, with Estevao having shown encouraging form in recent weeks. Rosenior did not put a timeline on the recovery but expressed hope for a swift return.

“I hope Este comes back sooner rather than later,” the manager added. “He’s a player who gives everything, and seeing him in that state at the break tells you everything about how much this means to him.”

Medical staff are expected to assess the extent of the damage in the coming days. Fans will be anxiously awaiting further news, with the Brazilian’s pace and creativity seen as key assets for the side’s attacking threat.
