The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced that the technical fault that disrupted electricity credit purchases for MMS-compliant meters has been completely fixed.
In a statement released on Monday, December 29, 2025, ECG said customers who were affected can now conveniently purchase electricity credits through the ECG Power App, the *226# shortcode, and authorised third-party vendors.
The company expressed appreciation to customers and the general public for their patience and cooperation during the downtime, noting that the support received helped ensure a quick resolution.

ECG further encouraged customers to continue using its official platforms to support improved and efficient service delivery nationwide.
