A video showing a rather one-sided embrace between actress Benedicta Gafah and Despite Media Managing Director Fadda Dickson has become the main talking point following Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong’s lavish 60th birthday celebration.
The star-studded event, held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the Despite Automobile Museum, was supposed to be about the business mogul’s milestone, but social media is currently fixated on a brief interaction captured between the actress and the media executive .
In the clip which went viral shortly after the event, Gafah, dressed in a stylish white halter-neck outfit with an open back, approaches Fadda Dickson for a hug. However, what was intended to be a warm embrace appeared to fall flat. Videos show the actress holding onto the MD in what could be described as an “ahuhyehy3” (tight hug), while Fadda Dickson remained largely motionable, keeping his hands down and refusing to reciprocate the gesture for several seconds .
Body language experts and social media critics have since weighed in, interpreting Dickson’s demeanor as a deliberate attempt to set boundaries.

Further footage from a different angle shows that after the initial awkward embrace, the two shared a brief conversation. The interaction concluded with a second, much briefer hug. During this second attempt, Gafah wrapped her arm around Dickson’s neck, but he responded only with a quick, perhaps obligatory, pat on her back before stepping away to create distance .
