Police arrest two suspects in disappearance of Ghanaian couple

Ghanaian police have arrested two individuals in connection with the mysterious disappearance of a couple who have been missing for over a month, authorities announced on Wednesday.

Dr. Jesse Amuah and his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Esi Amuah, were last seen on March 23, 2026. Family members grew concerned after repeatedly failing to reach them, according to police reports.

The case was officially reported on April 22, 2026, when relatives discovered that the couple’s residence had been locked and their Nissan Sunny was missing from the compound.

A joint police team comprising officers from the Missing Persons Unit, the Anti-Armed Robbery Unit, and the Crime Scene Management Team was immediately deployed to investigate.

Following several leads and inquiries, investigators apprehended two suspects whose identities have not yet been released, as the investigation remains active. The suspects are currently assisting police with their inquiries.

Authorities have appealed to the public to come forward with any information that could help trace the missing couple and clarify the circumstances surrounding their disappearance.
