Black Stars fans to pay at least $140 for Ghana’s opening 2026 World Cup match

Ghanaian fans hoping to support the Black Stars at the 2026 FIFA World Cup will need a minimum of $140 (about GH₵1,610) to purchase a match ticket, following the release of official prices by world football governing body FIFA on Thursday, December 11, 2025.

The lowest-priced ticket applies to Ghana’s opening Group L match against Panama, scheduled for June 17, 2026. FIFA has pegged the Category Three ticket for that fixture at $140.

Ticket prices for the Ghana versus Panama match are as follows:

  • Category Three: $140 (GH₵1,610)
  • Category Two: $380 (GH₵4,370)
  • Category One: $450 (GH₵5,175)

Prices increase considerably for Ghana’s second group encounter against England on June 23. For that high-profile fixture, the cheapest available ticket is $220 (GH₵2,530) under Category Three.

The full price list for the Ghana vs England match is:

  • Category Three: $220 (GH₵2,530)
  • Category Two: $430 (GH₵4,935)
  • Category One: $600 (GH₵6,900)

Ghana’s final group match against Croatia on June 27 is priced between $180 and $500, depending on seating category. FIFA’s breakdown for that game is:

  • Category Three: $180 (GH₵2,070)
  • Category Two: $400 (GH₵4,600)
  • Category One: $500 (GH₵5,750)

All cedi equivalents are based on the exchange rate as of December 11, 2025, the date FIFA released the ticket pricing.

The publication of the prices offers Ghanaian supporters a clearer sense of the financial commitment required to follow the Black Stars in North America, with the England match standing out as the most expensive of the three group fixtures.
