The Director-General of the Police Professional Standards Bureau (PPSB), Commissioner of Police (COP) Donkor, has assured the public that investigations into an alleged assault involving businessman Ibrahim Mahama will be conducted fairly and impartially.
Speaking amid growing public interest in the case, COP Donkor emphasized that the Ghana Police Service remains committed to professionalism and due process, regardless of the individuals involved.
“We will ensure that all parties connected to the incident are treated equally under the law,” he stated, adding that investigators are focused on establishing the facts surrounding the alleged assault. The aim, he noted, is to uncover the truth and ensure accountability where necessary.
COP Donkor explained that the PPSB will oversee the investigative process to guarantee transparency and maintain public confidence in the outcome. He stressed that external pressure or influence would not be permitted to affect the direction of the inquiry.
