The Ghana Cycling Federation (GCF), in partnership with the Africa Cycling Network, has paid a formal courtesy visit to Twellium Industrial Company – Ghana at its Medie-Kotoku factory, cementing a key sponsorship relationship established during the recent Tour du Ghana.
A delegation, led by GCF Secretary General Shaaban Mohammed, presented a formal citation to Twellium, officially recognising the company as the sole hydration sponsor of the major cycling event. During the ten-day Tour du Ghana, Twellium supplied over 200 participants with its Verna Water brand.
The visit also served to honour the company’s sponsorship of two prestigious race jerseys: the ‘Youngest Overall Verna Jersey’ and the ‘Best Overall Breakaway Twellium Jersey’ for the upcoming November 2025 Tour du Ghana Black Star Experience. A commemorative jersey was presented to Twellium management in recognition of this support.
The delegation, which included GCF Equipment Director Rudolf Mensah, Media Personnel Elizabeth Gyamfi, and cyclists Emmanuel Sesi and Farrakhan Shaaban Mohammed, was warmly received by Twellium’s Belinda Selase Kamasah. They were given an extensive guided tour of the production facility, led by Safety Officer Samuel Adjetey Annang and Quality Control Officer Leenatu Uthman Usuf.
The tour provided officials and athletes with an educative insight into the company’s manufacturing processes, quality assurance protocols, and safety standards.
“The experience was both educative and inspiring,” noted a statement from the Federation. “It deepened our understanding of industrial production and the commitment to quality behind the products that supported our athletes.”
The Ghana Cycling Federation and the Africa Cycling Network expressed their sincere gratitude to Twellium Industrial Company for the warm reception and valuable engagement, highlighting the partnership as a model for corporate support in developing sports within the country.
