The Ministry of Finance has announced the relocation of its offices to a new facility in Kanda, Accra. Full operations are scheduled to commence at the new premises on Monday, February 9, 2026.
In a statement issued today, the Ministry indicated that the move is a strategic administrative decision aimed at improving operational efficiency, coordination, and service delivery in the execution of its mandate.
The Ministry clarified that the office complex was constructed by the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) prior to the inauguration of the current administration. The relocation, therefore, represents the utilization of an existing state asset rather than the initiation of a new capital project.
“The public is further informed that the new office facility at Kanda was constructed by the Ghana Revenue Authority prior to the current administration assuming office,” the release stated.
By consolidating operations into the completed facility, the Ministry aims to enhance stakeholder engagement and improve administrative responsiveness.
All official correspondence, visits, and inquiries should now be directed to the Ministry’s new address at Tumu Avenue, Kanda, Accra. Telephone numbers and email contacts remain unchanged.
The Ministry expressed confidence that the move will strengthen its work and thanked the public and stakeholders for their continued cooperation
