Police Service announces major command reshuffle

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno has executed a significant reshuffle of top commanders within the Ghana Police Service, with immediate effect.

According to an official statement, the changes affect several Director-General positions:

· Commissioner of Police (COP) Dr. Sayibu Pabi Gariba moves from Director-General, Technical, to Director-General, NAPD.
· COP Iddi Lansah Seidu, formerly Director-General, Welfare, is now Director-General, Technical.
· COP Dr. Vance Baba Gariba has been transferred from Director-General, Operations, to Director-General, Research and Planning.
· COP Emmanuel Teye-Cudjoe is now Director-General, Operations, moving from Director-General, PPSB.
· DCOP Darko Offei Lomotey takes over as Director-General, PPSB, from Research and Planning.
· DCOP Eric Ken Winful moves from Director-General, NAPD, to Director-General, Welfare.

The IGP stated that the reshuffle is part of ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency and leadership within the service. Further details and the full rationale behind the changes are expected to be released in a forthcoming briefing.
