The Member of Parliament for Salaga South, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has donated three motorbikes to the constituency’s Election Directorate to support the ongoing reorganization of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the area.
The presentation took place on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the NDC Constituency Office in Salaga. The initiative is part of the MP’s broader strategy to strengthen party structures and enhance operational efficiency at the grassroots level. The motorbikes are expected to improve mobility for directorate officials, facilitate better coordination, and bolster supervision and monitoring activities across the constituency’s widely dispersed communities.
Speaking at the brief handover ceremony, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah stressed the importance of a robust and well-coordinated party machinery in achieving electoral success. She noted that reliable transportation is critical, particularly in constituencies where communities are separated by long distances. The support, she said, is designed to empower the Election Directorate to effectively execute its duties as the party reorganizes and refines its strategies ahead of future elections.
She further reaffirmed her dedication to the party’s progress and called on members to remain united and focused in building strong internal systems that will position the NDC for victory in subsequent polls.
Receiving the motorbikes on behalf of the directorate, Constituency Election Director Mr. Tanko Yakubu expressed appreciation to the MP for her consistent support. He assured that the vehicles would be utilized effectively to advance the party’s reorganization objectives.
Other beneficiaries of the donation included Mr. Mustapha Tawfic and Alhaji Dramani Abudu. Dignitaries present at the event included the Constituency Chairman, Mr. Haruna Abdul Aziz; the Special Advisor to the MP, Ing. Abdul Nasser Adam; along with other constituency executives and staff from the MP’s office.
Party officials, including the Constituency Chairman, hailed the donation as both timely and impactful, emphasizing that it would significantly enhance the operational capacity of the Election Directorate.
