Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla, daughter of former South African President Jacob Zuma, will face trial this week over terrorism-related charges linked to social media posts during the 2021 riots.
Prosecutors allege that Zuma-Sambudla encouraged looting, arson, and violence after her father’s imprisonment, which resulted in at least 300 deaths and $2.8bn in damages. She denies the charges of incitement to terrorism and public violence, claiming the case is politically motivated.
