Ghanaian musician Okyeame Kwame has revealed that he no longer takes advice from older people—preferring instead to listen to the younger generation.
The rapper, born Kwame Nsiah-Apau, says his successful return to the mainstream spotlight was made possible not by the wisdom of elders, but by guidance from younger individuals.
According to the award-winning artist, young people are more in tune with current trends and the spirit of the moment. He credits his young team for keeping him connected to modern ideas and evolving culture.
Speaking on Class FM, Okyeame Kwame explained that his continued relevance in the entertainment industry stems directly from the youthful team he has surrounded himself with.
“The youngsters are more vibrant with current trends and the zeitgeist of the moment,” he said.
