The Ghanaian Embassy in Doha has urgently advised all Ghanaian nationals residing in Qatar to remain indoors following a missile attack that struck the capital city on Saturday.
In a security alert issued on February 28, the Embassy confirmed it was responding to heightened regional tensions and reports of a missile impact within Doha. The directive urges citizens to prioritize their safety by seeking immediate shelter.
“Due to the missile attack and its impact in Doha, please take shelter until further notice and obtain information from official sources,” the Embassy stated.
The diplomatic mission further advised Ghanaians to avoid all military installations and crowded areas to minimize exposure to potential risks. In preparation for an extended period of uncertainty, the Embassy recommended that citizens ensure they have adequate supplies of essential medication, food, and water.
Authorities are urging the Ghanaian community to remain calm and monitor official communication channels for real-time updates and further directives from the Embassy.
