The Ministry of Health has officially opened a window for Ghanaian nurses to pursue international career opportunities, announcing a partnership with the government of St. Kitts and Nevis to fill critical roles in the Caribbean nation.
The recruitment initiative, disclosed on Monday, March 23, 2026, aims to select qualified Ghanaian nurses for placement in hospitals and health centers abroad. The Ministry is specifically seeking Registered General Nurses to work in medical and private wards, as well as Community Health Nurses.
Eligibility and Requirements
To be considered, applicants must meet several criteria. Candidates must be in good standing with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana and possess a minimum of five years of professional experience. The Ministry also emphasized the need for strong communication and interpersonal skills.
