Ongoing restoration efforts
The scheduled interventions come as ECG continues to manage the aftermath of Sunday’s heavy rainstorm, which affected 57 feeders in Accra and Tema. As of Sunday evening, 38 had been restored while 19 remained outstanding, with restoration efforts ongoing.
Additionally, engineers continue to address a cable fault at Amasaman in the Accra West Region, which has disrupted power to Amasaman, Fise, Urban Roads, the Hospital, Municipal Assembly, Lakisha Hotel, Slaughter House, China Mall, and surrounding areas.
ECG extended its apologies to all affected customers, acknowledging the inconvenience caused by both the scheduled maintenance and the ongoing restoration efforts. The company urged customers experiencing outages to report through its Contact Centre, the ECG PowerApp, or its official social media handles, while assuring the public that engineers are working diligently to fully restore power across the regions.
