Ebo Noah, the man accused of causing public alarm with a doomsday prediction of a global flood, has been remanded by the Adenta District Court and ordered to undergo a psychiatric assessment.
The ruling was made during his first court appearance following his arrest on charges of false communication and causing fear and panic.
Born Evans Eshun, Noah was taken into custody by the Ghana Police Service’s Special Cyber Vetting Team on December 31, 2025.
His case has attracted widespread attention after he claimed that God had warned him of a world-ending flood set for December 25, 2025.
The self-proclaimed prophet reportedly built an “ark” at his premises, which he said would save humanity from the disaster.
After the predicted catastrophe did not occur, Noah reportedly altered his prophecy, claiming his prayers had successfully postponed the event.
