The E4Impact Foundation, in collaboration with Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, is set to host a landmark dual event on Friday, 27th March 2026, aimed at bolstering Ghana’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Italian Innovation Center and the I.N.S.P.I.R.E. Entrepreneurship and Job Fair will officially launch at the Amartey Towers Building, located at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
The event, funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), marks a significant stride in the country’s socio-economic transformation under the I.N.S.P.I.R.E. Project.
A Blueprint for Economic Resilience
The I.N.S.P.I.R.E. Project—Implementing New Solutions for the Professional Integration of Human Resources in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Ghana—is a strategic initiative designed to catalyze economic growth by integrating youth, women, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) into the formal economy.
Implemented by a consortium including Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, E4Impact Foundation, UPSA, CRISP Università di Milano-Bicocca, VIS Volontariato Internazionale per lo Sviluppo, and Don Bosco Youth Network West Africa, the project spans five key regions: Greater Accra, Ashanti, Northern, Bono, and Western. Its ambitious targets include the creation of 1,620 sustainable jobs and support for the scaling of 570 Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). By upskilling 4,615 youth through specialized Vocational Training Centers, the initiative aims to bridge the critical divide between classroom theory and market reality.
Innovation Meets Opportunity
Described by organizers as a “high-octane marketplace for talent and technology,” the program will feature several key highlights:
· Italian Innovation Center: Officially inaugurated at UPSA, this new hub is set to serve as the premier gateway for technology transfer and commercial synergies between Ghana and Italy.
· Entrepreneurship Pavilion: A dedicated space will showcase proprietary innovations from startups led by alumni and students of the MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
· Capacity Building: Attendees will have access to expert-led masterclasses on digital transformation and sustainable business models, preparing them for the demands of the global labor market.
Event Schedule and Expected Outcomes
The day’s proceedings will be divided into a morning strategy session and an afternoon career fair. The Visionary Leadership & Strategy segment (8:30 AM – 05:00 PM) will feature a keynote address outlining the I.N.S.P.I.R.E. vision, a plenary session on the future of work, and a startup showcase.
The event is designed to deliver tangible outcomes for attendees, including:
· Access to Career Pathways: Direct engagement with hiring managers and industry partners for internship and full-time employment opportunities.
· Investment Opportunities: A platform for entrepreneurs to present original business concepts to a panel of investors and mentors for real-time feedback.
· Networking: Opportunities to build professional relationships with key stakeholders from the E4Impact network and the broader Ghanaian business community.
· Skill Development: Insights into the practical application of Artificial Intelligence and sustainable practices within modern business frameworks.
