Agent slams Chelsea’s unfair punishment of Enzo Fernandez over Madrid comment

Javier Pastore, the agent of Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández, has strongly criticized the club’s decision to bench the player for two matches, calling the punishment “completely unfair.”

According to Pastore, Fernández is confused by the club’s reaction. The agent clarified that the Argentine never mentioned any intention to leave Chelsea or expressed a desire to join another club.

“He only mentioned Madrid because it’s a city,” Pastore explained. “He was asked which European city he would like to live in one day, and he said Madrid. He never said he wants to leave Chelsea or London at all.”

The agent’s comments come after Chelsea reportedly took disciplinary action against Fernández, whom they believe may have hinted at a future move away from the club. Pastore insists the situation has been misunderstood and that the midfielder remains fully committed to Chelsea.
