The District Chief Executive, Kwasi Amankwa, echoed the MP’s sentiments, reiterating the assembly’s unwavering commitment to initiatives that enhance the welfare of residents. He highlighted the centre’s role in strengthening local governance by providing a suitable and dignified space for official engagements and community programmes.
“The welfare of our people is our priority. This centre is not just a building; it is a platform for social interaction, effective governance, and community cohesion,” the DCE remarked.
Royal Endorsement and Call to Unity
Adding his royal blessing to the occasion, the Kumawumanhene, Barimah Sarfo Tweneboah Kodua, commended the government and the district assembly for their dedication. He described the facility as a significant addition to the traditional area that will immensely benefit the people.
The revered traditional leader called on all stakeholders to act as custodians of the new facility. “Let us handle this centre with the utmost care. It is an investment in our future, and we must preserve its value for generations yet unborn,” he advised.
