Black Stars camp is beginning to take shape ahead of the upcoming international window, as Manchester City forward Antoine Semenyo has been spotted in Cardiff ahead of the team’s preparatory camping phase.
The dynamic attacker arrived in the Welsh capital in the last few hours, joining a growing list of key players who have already reported for duty. Semenyo’s presence adds considerable firepower to the squad, as Ghana looks to fine-tune its tactics for the crucial fixtures ahead.
Over the past 12 to 15 hours, the team camp has welcomed several high-profile figures, including Athletic Club’s powerful striker Inaki Williams, who touched down earlier to a warm reception. Alongside Williams and the newly-arrived Semenyo, other senior members of the squad are expected to link up with the group before the team’s first full training session.
Semenyo, who has been in scintillating form for his club, was seen exchanging pleasantries with teammates and coaching staff shortly after his arrival. His pace and versatility are expected to be key assets as the Black Stars continue their preparations.
The Ghana Football Association is yet to release the final itinerary for the camping exercise, but sources close to the team confirm that morale is high, with the majority of the invited players expected to be in Cardiff by tomorrow morning.
