Boxing Legend Floyd Mayweather Ordered to Pay Over $1 Million in Child Support Case Involving Floyd Mayweather Jr., the undefeated boxing icon and five-weight world champion, has been ordered by a judge to pay more than $1 million in child support after being formally declared the father of a four-year-old girl whose mother is a former dancer at his own strip club.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Mayweather was officially named the child’s father this past March.
The mother, Paige Moorehead, filed a lawsuit claiming she was in an eight-year relationship with Mayweather. She says the pair separated in April 2021 after she discovered she was pregnant. Moorehead, who worked at Mayweather’s “Girls Collection” strip club, alleged that the fighter pressured her to terminate the pregnancy and later fired her.
Under the judge’s ruling, Mayweather has been ordered to pay $24,426 per month in ongoing child support.
Additionally, he must provide four years of backdated support to Moorehead, a lump sum totaling $693,769. Combined with future payment obligations, the total ordered amount exceeds $1 million.
Representatives for Mayweather have not yet publicly commented on the ruling.
