BOST Energies Limited Managing Director, Afetsi Awoonor, has announced that the state-owned bulk storage and transportation company is now fully prepared to provide round-the-clock fuel supply nationwide.
In a statement on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, Awoonor assured Ghanaians and industry players that BOST has completed critical infrastructure upgrades and operational reforms to eliminate fuel shortages and ensure uninterrupted distribution.
“We are ready to deliver fuel 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” Awoonor said. “Ghanaians should no longer experience the inconvenience of running to fuel stations only to find empty pumps.”
The announcement comes amid broader efforts to stabilise Ghana’s energy sector and boost investor confidence. Awoonor emphasised that improved storage facilities, enhanced pipeline integrity, and a revamped logistics framework now allow BOST to respond swiftly to demand fluctuations across all regions.
Industry watchers have welcomed the development, noting that consistent fuel supply is essential for transportation, agriculture, and industrial productivity. BOST’s renewed commitment signals a major step toward energy security, Awoonor added.
The company urged the public to report any supply irregularities as it rolls out a monitoring system to track distribution in real time.
