The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo, has expressed concern over what he describes as a widespread sentiment among heads of National Democratic Congress (NDC) agencies that he has not been treated fairly.
Speaking in a recent interview, Adongo lamented that many appointees within the party’s administrative structures have privately conveyed to him that his contributions and standing within the NDC have not received due recognition.
“Many NDC agency heads feel I have not been treated well,” the outspoken lawmaker stated, though he stopped short of providing specific instances or naming individuals.
Adongo, known for his sharp critiques of economic policies and his active role in parliamentary debates, did not indicate whether the alleged treatment stems from party leadership, government officials, or other internal factions.
The MP’s comments have sparked speculation about possible rifts within the NDC, particularly as the party positions itself ahead of future electoral contests. Neither the NDC’s national leadership nor any of the mentioned agency heads have issued an immediate response to Adongo’s claims.
Observers note that Adongo has previously been vocal about internal party matters, and this latest lament may signal deeper concerns about recognition and influence within the NDC’s power structure.
