LThe Member of Parliament for Salaga South Constituency, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has donated GHC 21,100 to four branches of the Gonjaland Youth Association in the East Gonja Municipality to support their participation in the association’s upcoming 50th Anniversary Celebration.
The contribution was delivered on behalf of the MP by Chief Kijipuwura Mohammed Achilo, known as Mr. Sabingo, accompanied by Mr. Awari Lawal and Mr. Danian Megari.
Speaking during the presentation, Mr. Awari Lawal outlined the distribution: the Kpembe Local Branch will receive GHC 6,100, while the Kafaba, Makango, and Kulaw/Lor Ekun Local Branches will each receive GHC 5,000.
He also announced that the MP is expected to attend the anniversary activities in Buipe.
Alhaji Abudu Hudu, Chairman of the Gonjaland Youth Association’s Kpembe Local Branch, expressed gratitude on behalf of the beneficiaries, praising the MP’s consistent generosity and dedication to youth development. He offered prayers for her continued success and well-being in serving the constituency.
This year’s congress coincides with the 50th Anniversary Celebration, scheduled for April 2–5, 2026, in Buipe, Central Gonja District, Savannah Region. The theme is: “Five Decades of Progress: Empowering the Gonjaland Youth for the Future.”
Delegates from the East Gonja Municipality are set to depart tomorrow for the four-day event.
