Fees and charges for services provided by the Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) will increase nationwide starting Monday, February 2, 2026.
According to the Office, the adjustment is in accordance with the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations, 2025 (L.I. 2512), which mandates a periodic review of fees charged by public institutions.
In a notice cited by Joy Business, the ORC indicated that the revised fees will apply across the full range of services it offers, including company incorporation, business name registration, and other related services.
The Office explained that the review is aimed at ensuring sustainable service delivery while improving customer experience nationwide.
Although the new rates were not disclosed in the notice, the ORC said full details of the revised fees will be made available at all Registrar offices across the country and published on its official website ahead of the implementation date.
The Office has advised the public and service users to take note of the changes and make the necessary arrangements for transactions to be conducted after the new fees take effect.
The development forms part of a broader compliance drive by state institutions, departments, and agencies to align with the Fees and Charges Regulations, 2025, recently passed by Parliament.
Last week, the National Identification Authority also announced increases in fees for some of its services, citing the need to maintain and improve service delivery.
